In late 2018 we entered a partnership with Sandhills Pacific a subsidiary of Sandhills Publishing based in the United States. Sandhills are a behemoth in the US and operate in many countries around the world. They are a family owned business based in Lincoln, Nebraska not far from Omaha, Nebraska home of one of the most famous business owners in the world – Warren Buffett.

Sandhills commenced operation in 1978 publishing ‘Machinery Trader’ which was distributed to 20,000 buyers and sellers of heavy construction equipment. Since then additional publications have been created targeting Trucks and Agricultural Equipment and distribution grown to more than 900,000 magazines a week in the US.

The Sandhills business empire has expanded into many other industries but our partnership with them is with the Australian operation of Machinery Trader, Tractor World and Truck Sales. They are already a substantial player in Australia via their websites and publications that are distributed around Australia. We are the preferred provider of insurance to buyers, sellers and dealers through the Sandhills network.

We are really excited about our partnership with Sandhills and have developed a new brand, Machine Insurance for this niche market. We have already signed our first clients in Machine Insurance, a young truck driver transporting mobile homes from Perth to the Northwest and a farmer from Injune, Queensland who recently purchased a Caterpillar D9 from the Machinery Trader website.

We look forward to becoming the pre-eminent broker in Australia for Machinery Insurance.
