Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) is a free consumer service designed to handle complaints and help resolve problems between insurance brokers and other financial service providers and their clients. AFCA provides support to help consumers and small businesses resolve problems quickly and efficiently without having to resort to costly litigation. AFCA covers a range of policies including motor vehicle, home buildings and contents, sickness and accident, life, consumer credit, travel, personal, domestic and business pack policies. If an issue has not been resolved to your satisfaction, you can lodge a complaint with AFCA.
