Janet joined Bruce Insurance in April of this year. She joined us following the height of the covid restrictions in WA and following our move into our new office.

Janet was born and raised in Singapore. She migrated to Perth in 1990 and has lived here ever since. She loves and misses her family in Singapore, but Perth is where she feels she is at home. Janet speaks 3 languages – English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Janet has been working in the insurance industry since 1996 and has worked as an assistant, system user support person and also as an Account Manager for the last 8 years. Janet builds strong relationships with her clients and says that she gains the most satisfaction in the challenge of negotiating with insurers for the best cover at the lowest price for her clients. She displays a real sense of empathy when dealing with clients and her motto in life as in work is simple, to always aim to do what is right.

Janet loves to walk along the Perth beaches watching the sunset over the ocean. She also enjoys dancing and singing karaoke and never misses singing her favourites; Mama Mia and Dancing Queen by ABBA. She hopes to be able to (when covid is over) travel again and discover Europe and the US for herself, places she hasn’t been yet.

Having Janet with us has been an easy and seamless transition. She enjoys having a laugh and freely shares her knowledge to other staff members.
