Mandatory Recall – Takata Airbags

World-wide recalls were issued earlier this year for airbags manufactured by Japanese company Takata. Some air bags manufactured by Takata are known to have shrapnel-shooting inflator parts with the potential to cause serious injury.

Some suppliers in Australia have not taken adequate steps to recall their vehicles which led to the Australian government announcing a mandatory recall of nearly four million motor vehicles.

We strongly encourage all of our clients to check the vehicle recall list and refer to your car manufacturer if you have any concerns. Click here for more information.
